Battery Shock
Ampere has launched the Nexus EX Plus with a claimed battery design life of up to 2,00,000 km. The scooter uses LFP battery technology, while the company is also offering a five-year or 75,000-km battery warranty, giving buyers a longer ownership promise.

Range Claim
The Nexus EX+ promises up to 136 km of riding range on a single charge, according to Ampere. Its claimed real-world range is more than 90 km, putting the scooter firmly in the conversation for buyers worried about frequent charging.

Charging Sprint
Waiting hours for an electric scooter to charge could become less painful with the Nexus EX+. Ampere says its battery can reach 80% charge in about 3 hours and 10 minutes, while a full charge takes around 4 hours.

Power Upgrade
The biggest mechanical change on the Nexus EX+ is its new 5kW motor. According to Ampere, the motor produces peak torque of 202Nm at the wheel, while the extra torque also improves the scooter's pickup and acceleration.

Feature Flood
The connected version of the Nexus EX+ packs more than 30 connected features, including real-time charging status, live tracking, geo-fencing, find-my-scooter and turn-by-turn navigation. It also adds battery-health and riding insights.
