Honda Activa E: Price, range, top speed and every spec you need to know before buying

The Honda Activa e is an electric interpretation of the iconic Activa brand that first launched in 2001. For years the Activa ruled Indian households — now it begins a new chapter with battery-swapping technology and connected features.

One of the biggest attractions of the Activa e is its swappable battery system. Riders can replace depleted batteries at Honda's swap stations in about a minute — eliminating charging wait times for daily urban commuters.

Powered by a PMSM motor with 8.04hp and 22Nm, the Activa e uses two 1.5 kWh swappable lithium-ion packs, delivering a certified IDC range of 102 km. Top speed is 80 km/h with 0–60 km/h acceleration in 7.3 seconds.

The scooter comes with three riding modes — Econ, Standard and Sport — plus a Reverse Mode that makes parking and manoeuvring in congested urban spaces hassle-free and simple.

The Activa e features LED headlamps, DRLs, indicators and taillamps, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and body-coloured mirrors. It's available in five colours including Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Igneous Black and Matt Foggy Silver Metallic.

Features include a 7-inch TFT display, smart key, USB Type-C port, and Honda's RoadSync Duo connectivity suite — offering turn-by-turn navigation, live vehicle tracking, call alerts and music controls.

The Activa e starts at ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom), competing directly against Ather Rizta, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube and Hero Vida V2 — bringing Honda's trusted Activa legacy into the electric age.
