India's most affordable electric cars in 2026 have genuinely surprised buyers — with sunroofs, 360-degree cameras, ADAS and long ranges now available under ₹10 lakh. Here are four EVs that are redefining what budget electric mobility actually looks like.

The most affordable EV in India under the BaaS plan starts at approximately ₹4.69 lakh. Standard purchase prices begin at ₹6.99 lakh. It offers a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless CarPlay, automatic climate control, six airbags, a 360-degree camera and ADAS — with a claimed MIDC range of up to 293 km on the 24 kWh battery.

Designed for city commuting, the ultra-compact MG Comet EV is available from approximately ₹4.99 lakh under BaaS, or ₹7 lakh standard. It features dual 10.25-inch screens, MG's i-Smart connected technology, keyless entry and a 17.3 kWh battery with a claimed 230 km range.

For buyers wanting SUV styling, the Punch EV starts at ₹6.49 lakh under BaaS or ₹9.69 lakh standard. It gets a sunroof, ventilated front seats, ADAS, blind-spot monitor, six airbags and a 360-degree camera — with Tata claiming a maximum range of up to 421 km on the 35 kWh battery.

The eC3 is for buyers wanting a high seating position and spacious cabin. Under BaaS it starts at ₹8.49 lakh, or ₹11.99 lakh standard. The 29.2 kWh battery claims an ARAI-certified 320 km range, with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, six airbags and ESC as standard features.
