Katrina Kaif, Sidharth Malhotra's Baar Baar Dekho fails to shine at the box office

Katrina Kaif's luck at the box office does not seem to be going too well, with her latest release Baar Baar Dekho also failing to shine.

Her previous two films Fitoor and Phantom were no big hits either.

Baar Baar Dekho's earnings at the box office was surprisingly lower on Sunday compared to the first two days.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film earned Rs 6.81 cr on Friday, Rs 7.65 cr on Saturday and Rs 6.70 crore on Sunday.

With a total of Rs 21.16 crore, the film starring Sidharth Malhotra will hope for better returns on Tuesday which is a holiday due to Bakri Eid.

The film has not been able to convince critics and has received mixed reviews.

India Today's Ananya Bhattacharya wrote: "Debutant director Nitya Mehra attempts to make a 'high-concept' love story, only to fall light years short of what the film could have been.

The film keeps you guessing, to the point you don't really care. The screenplay doesn't have room for anything except this feast of beauty; from the background to the people in front of the camera."
