Rupee drops to all-time low
Rupee drops to all-time lowThe Indian rupee breached the 92 mark for the first time ever on Wednesday as the US-Israeli war on Iran sent oil prices soaring to a new high of $85/bbl, stoking risks of inflation in the world's fastest growing economy.
The Indian currency fell 55 paise to a record low of 92.03 on Wednesday against the US Dollar.
Today's fall in rupee surpasses previous record lows of 91.99 (January 29) and 92.02 hit in late January 2026.
