What govt plans to do for migrant workers amid lockdown

In a press conference today, Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary to Health Ministry spoke about various measures being taken by the government to address concerns of migrant workers who are the most marginalised in society. The nationwide lockdown, announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on March 24, impacted millions of migrants and daily wage workers who tried fleeing to their native towns.
