RIM launched its tablet - PlayBook - in Mumbai on Wednesday. Bollywood star Salman Khan unveiled the new tablet, which comes 3 variants - 16 GB (Rs 27,990), 32 GB (Rs 32,990) and 64 GB (Rs 37,990).

The seven-inch tablet runs on a new operating system built by QNX Software Systems and weighs at 425 grams. Users can go online using a Wi-Fi network or by synchronising the device to their BlackBerry smartphones.
