New cars coming soon

A slew of car launches are slated in the coming few months. Take a look at the expected launches by auto majors:

HYUNDAI 'HA'
This still unnamed car (HA is the code name) is believed to be a replacement for Santro, or, according to some reports, priced to compete with Maruti 800.

HONDA BRIO
Honda's new small car is expected to hit Indian roads later this year. Priced somewhere between between Rs4 to 5 lakh, the car envisages to capture the small car segment with its hot quotient. Honda's earlier small car Jazz failed to woo the small car lovers in India.

MAHINDRA 'MINI' XYLO
Mahindra has a five-seat version of its Xylo in the works, which is expected to hit the roads later this year. This new compact version of Mahindra's popular SUV is expected to bear all the specifications of its parent version "Mahindra Xylo SUV" and is expected to be priced ar Rs 5 lakhs.

RENAULT KOLEOS
Renault's new SUV should help the French company build its brand before the big launches in 2012.

SUZUKI SWIFT (REFRESH)
Maruti Suzuki India plans to launch a new version of Swift in August this year in 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel variants. The compnay is understood to have stopped the production of its best-selling premium hatchback Swift. The new Swift is expected to kickstart Maruti sales.
