Microsoft's Surface Pro 4: Key features

The Surface Pro 4 is billed as 'the tablet designed to replace your laptop.'

Pre-orders for the Surface Pro 4 has started on October 7 starting at $899. The device rolls out on October 26.

Surface Pro 4 comes with a new Surface Pen. The stylus also has an eraser attached to it.

The new pen has 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity and attaches magnetically to the side of the Surface Pro 4 when not in use.

The Surface Pro 4 comes with a larger 12.3-inch display, and weighs just 766 grams.

It also has a fingerprint sensor on the keyboard.

Surface Pro 4 has a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP autofocus rear-facing camera.

Intel's Skylake processors and Microsoft's own Windows 10 will power the Surface Pro 4.

It's battery can last up to 9 hours.

Surface Pro 4 is faster by 30 per cent than its predecessor Surface Pro 3 and 50 per cent than a Macbook Air.
