BenQ has announced the launch of its most advanced eye care monitor, the EW2775ZH. Claimed to offer high-quality audio-visual content without compromising the health of the eyes, the monitor uses BenQ's proprietary Low Blue Light Plus and Brightness Intelligence technology.
Priced at Rs 17,500, this 27-inch monitor has an edge-to-edge ultra-slim bezel supporting Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and has a refresh rate of 60Hz. It features true 8-bit colour and light matte screen surface with 3000:1 native contrast ratio. The backlight is flicker-free WLED, using modified blue diodes as part of the Low Blue Light Plus feature of the monitor. It has got a feature of shifting the peak of blue light, which allows the monitor to cut out potentially harmful blue light without upsetting the overall colour temperature or balance of the image.
Rajeev Singh, Managing Director, BenQ India said, "With the ever growing involvement of technology in our daily lives, we are spending more and more time staring at a screen, whether for work or entertainment. Now more than ever, we need technology that protects our eyes and takes our over-all screen viewing experience to the next level".
