iBall launches CompBook Windows 10 laptop for Rs 9,999

At a press briefing in New Delhi today, iBall has announced the launch of CompBook laptop with the starting price of Rs 9,999. With the launch of the affordable laptop, iBall aims to address the need of affordable computing, in line with the Honorable Prime Minister's Digital India Initiative, to narrow the gap between consumer needs and the devices currently available in the market.

The iBall CompBook laptops will be launched in two variants - 11.6inch Excelance and 14inch Exemplaire. The CompBook 11.6inch Excelance features an 11.6 inch display and is priced at Rs 9,999. The elder sibling, Exemplarie, has got a 14.1 inch display and will be available for Rs 13,999.  Both these laptops are powered by 1.83GHz Intel Atom quad core processor and is paired with 2GB of RAM. Running Windows 10 operating system, these laptops come with an internal storage of up to 32GB with an expandable memory of up to 64GB though microSD card. The laptops have got HD display, support for external HDD and are equipped with 10,000 mAh battery which the company claims can last up to 22 hours. For connectivity, the laptops support WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and two USB ports. There is a 3.5mm jack and the machine have dual speakers.

There is also an  optional Insurance pack available that covers accidental damage,  theft and Breakage as well as additional one year warranty.
