Toshiba brings android on laptop
The MID AC100, at 870 gm, is extremely light for a 10.1-inch netbook. The technology
major claims it also offers an incredibly long standby battery time of 7

Toshiba introduced its first Android-based portable laptop and calls it MID (Mobile Internet Device) AC100.
At 870 gm it is extremely light for a 10.1-inch netbook. The technology major claims it also offers an incredibly long standby battery time of 7 days.
The laptop runs on NVIDIA's Tegra 250 Mobile Processor, which has 1 GHz speed, 512 MB DDR2 RAM and has 8 GB flash storage. It also has 1.3 megapixel web camera to video chat, and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for data transfer and internet.
This personal portable PC has Android version 2.1 as its operating system and comes with pre-loaded applications to browse the net with the facility to download more applications from the Android store.
The notebook retails for Rs 18,721.
