Fujifilm, one of the world's largest photographic solutions company, seems to be evolving with each of their launch. Very recently they have announced the F300EXR, a super-compact megazoom camera.

While announcing it at a launch, Kenichi Tanaka, managing director, Fujifilm India, introduced the F300EXR as a powerful successor to the Fujifilm's award-winning 'F'series models.

He said: "Today's discerning photographers are looking for a camera with a high zoom range, yet compact and pocketable, with no compromises on picture quality or being irritated by slow auto focus or blur. The F300EXR delivers on all those counts, and is destined to be the star performer in this year's intense competition for the best 'super zoom' compact cameras."

Boasting of a 12 megapixel lens and 15x optical zoom, the F300EXR is the world's first camera to be equipped with 'Phase Detection pixel built-in CCD'.

This latest version of Fuji's EXR technology enables fast and accurate phase detection auto focus. And hence, allows users to shoot subjects without losing the frame or the image quality.

Besides a pocket-friendly size and scene modes, this camera has PASM modes. It has an advanced Motion Panorama feature that has been extended to 360 degrees, enabling the opportunity to capture the scene around you in a single photo.
