IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers, speaking from the airline’s Operations Control Centre, says the reboot plan is stabilising operations after a difficult week. Flights have risen from 700 on Friday to 1,500 on Saturday, with 1,650 expected today. OTP has improved sharply from 30% to around 75%. Elbers thanked IndiGo staff for their hard work and acknowledged the tough situations faced by airport teams on December 5. He said refunds, rebooking and luggage clearance are “in full swing” and backlogs are reducing. Apologising to passengers, he added that IndiGo is committed to restoring normalcy and will “emerge stronger, step by step.”
