
Ambuja Cements Limited announced its Q1FY27 results, reporting revenue of ₹9,500 crore and operating EBITDA of ₹1,589 crore. Despite absorbing a ₹110/MT cost impact from West Asia geopolitical tensions and ₹50/MT for scheduled maintenance, EBITDA margin expanded 331 basis points to 16.7%, with EBITDA per metric ton rising to ₹931. Net cost dropped ₹206/MT sequentially. Profit after tax stood at ₹660 crore. CEO Vinod Bahety reaffirmed the company's trajectory to reach 119 MTPA capacity by end-FY27 and achieve its ₹4,250/MT cost guidance, supported by a debt-free balance sheet and digital manufacturing integrations.
