ED Raids 18 Locations Linked To Karnataka Minister Satish Jarkiholi In Bar Licence Probe

The Enforcement Directorate has conducted searches at 18 locations across Karnataka and Maharashtra in connection with a probe linked to Karnataka Minister Satish Jarkiholi and his associates. The searches reportedly included the minister’s residence and that of his daughter, Chikkodi MP Priyanka Jarkiholi. The investigation is linked to alleged irregularities involving 18 bar licences, including accusations of influence in the licensing process, bribery and suspected diversion of funds abroad. The ED is also examining alleged overseas investments involving the minister’s family. Congress has called the action politically motivated, while the BJP has demanded Jarkiholi’s resignation, escalating the political battle in Karnataka.
