Gold or silver: where should investors put their money over the next year? Ajay Kedia, MD & Director, Kedia Advisory, explains how the gold-silver ratio can help investors identify relative value between the two precious metals. With the ratio currently around 78–79, he believes silver is relatively cheaper than gold and offers greater upside potential. He recommends allocating 60–65% of the precious metals investment to silver and the remaining 35–40% to gold. However, he cautions that silver is significantly more volatile, even as industrial demand and the recent price correction support his bullish outlook.
