Pakistani terror drones attempted a renewed intrusion along the International Border and the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, triggering swift action by Indian security forces. Multiple drones were spotted in Samba, Rajouri and Poonch sectors, briefly entering Indian airspace before retreating. In the Nowshera sector, Army units opened fire after a drone hovered over a village, forcing it to flee. Anti-drone measures were activated and search operations launched to check for any dropped payloads. Security agencies say the spike in drone activity reflects Pakistan’s continued efforts to fuel terrorism and destabilise the region.
