PM Modi Chairs NITI Aayog Meeting, Pushes Viksit Bharat 2047 Vision Amid Global Uncertainty

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog in New Delhi, stressing the importance of Centre-State collaboration to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. Addressing Chief Ministers and stakeholders, he highlighted India's resilience amid global uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, inflation pressures, and energy security concerns. According to Aishwarya Paliwal of India Today, the Prime Minister called on states to actively support and implement key central government initiatives while ensuring that flagship schemes reach citizens at the grassroots level. The meeting also focused on identifying areas where states may require additional support from the Centre. Discussions emphasized coordinated governance, policy execution, and sustained economic momentum as India advances toward its long-term development goals.
