S. Jaishankar Flags 4F Crisis Of Fuel, Food, Fertilizer & Finance At UN Summit

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar addressed the inaugural Partners for Multilateralism Summit on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York. He stressed that global progress has been achieved through collective efforts and called for safeguarding existing gains while working toward better outcomes. Jaishankar highlighted the ongoing challenges from conflicts and the four-F crisis of fuel, food, fertilizer and finance. He also called for frameworks and guardrails to address emerging capabilities and concerns. Stressing the need to reduce vulnerabilities, he advocated de-risking and diversification amid potential choke points, dominance and disruption, while urging like-minded countries to come together on compelling global challenges.
