U.S. Ambassador Sergio Gor On U.S.-India TRUST Initiative | IIT Delhi Address

Delivering a landmark address in New Delhi, U.S. Ambassador Sergio Gor announced that the highly anticipated US-India interim trade agreement is on the verge of completion, with negotiating teams ironed down to the final one percent. Highlighting the "TRUST" framework launched by Prime Minister Modi and President Trump, Gor unveiled massive tech inflows- including $\$35$ billion from Amazon, $\$17.5$ billion from Microsoft, and a $\$15$ billion Google subsea terminal. Pointing to Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s recent strategic Quad visit, the Ambassador emphasised India's inclusion in the exclusive 'PAC Silica' top-10 network, cementing New Delhi as Washington’s premier, trusted geopolitical ally for next-generation AI infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, and deep space exploration.
