
At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2026, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh invited Russian space, technology, aerospace, and manufacturing companies to invest in the state's rapidly expanding innovation ecosystem. Highlighting the presence of India's only operational spaceport at Sriharikota, Lokesh unveiled Andhra Pradesh's ambitious Space Policy 4.0 and plans for a 3,000-acre Tirupati Space City. The state aims to attract nearly $4 billion in investments across space technology, semiconductors, aerospace, drones, quantum computing, and advanced manufacturing. Lokesh called on Russian firms to become long-term partners in Andhra Pradesh's growth story.
