NEET UG 2024 row: Physics Wallah CEO says NTA's clarification raises more questions than answers, may move SCThe NTA clarified that the results were ready ahead of time, demonstrating their commitment to improving efficiency annually.

Alakh Pandey, the CEO of Physics Wallah, plans to approach the Supreme Court over the NEET UG 2024 result controversy. In a video posted on X, Pandey voiced his concerns about the reported irregularities in the exam results.

"After the result of NEET, lakhs of children are worried that why such strange things are happening in the result this time. We have asked NTA for a lot of answers, but we are not getting a lot of answers," Pandey said.

Pandey plans to send a legal notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA).

He stressed the need for transparency, noting that recent clarifications from the NTA have only led to more questions. "Yesterday there was a clarification. Instead of answers, many more questions have been raised. And those questions have been raised for transparency," his legal aide said in the post.

The Central Government responded to these concerns by announcing a high-powered committee to review the affected results. NTA Director General Subodh Kumar Singh assured that there had been no paper leak. NEET (UG), formerly known as the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is held annually for students pursuing undergraduate medical and dental courses. This year's unexpected results have led to calls for a thorough investigation into the fairness of the exam.

There has been increasing pressure from students, educators, and politicians to ensure a fair and transparent process for all aspirants. Alarming issues include unusually high cut-off scores, compensatory marks awarded, and a surprising number of candidates achieving perfect scores (720/720).

The early announcement of results, initially scheduled for June 14th but declared on June 4th, has further raised suspicions. The NTA clarified that the results were ready ahead of time, demonstrating their commitment to improving efficiency annually.

Pandey assured students that their concerns would not be ignored and that necessary legal steps would be taken to ensure justice.
