Mukesh Ambani, chairman & managing director, Reliance Industries Limited, on Thursday announced the launch of Jio 4G services in India at RIL's 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai.

"Jio stands on five pillars: best quality broadband network with highest capacity (all-IP network), affordable 4G smartphones, compelling applications and content, superior digital service and affordable and simple tariffs," Ambani said.
