Retail food inflation in October came in at 5.25 per cent. (Photo: Reuters)The annual consumer price inflation edged up to 5.0 per cent in October, up for the third straight month, compared with 4.41 per cent a month ago, government data showed on Thursday.
Retail food inflation in October came in at 5.25 per cent, higher than 3.88 per cent recorded in September. The Reserve Bank of India estimates retail inflation to be at 5.8 per cent by January 2016.
