Five Legend trims create an 18-variant Sierra line-up

Tata’s Sierra Legend Series starts at ₹11.99 lakh and is spread across Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L(O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L trims. With different petrol, diesel, manual and automatic combinations, the new series contains 18 variants. All prices mentioned here are ex-showroom, India, so registration, insurance and other on-road charges will be additional.

The L variants cost ₹50,000–₹70,000 more than their corresponding trims

The Legend treatment is not a replacement for the existing Sierra range. Autocar India reports that the original trims continue as the Signature Series, while each L variant carries a premium of approximately ₹50,000–₹70,000 over the trim on which it is based. This gives buyers a useful comparison point: the extra payment is primarily for the added cabin, convenience and technology equipment.

Smart+ L begins at ₹11.99 lakh with a more finished cabin

The entry Smart+ L costs ₹11.99 lakh with the naturally aspirated petrol-manual powertrain and ₹13.49 lakh with the diesel-manual. Over the corresponding regular trim, it adds leatherette seat and interior trim, steering-mounted controls, auto-folding outside mirrors, roof rails and full wheel covers. It is the lowest-cost route into the Legend styling package, but it does not receive the larger infotainment upgrades of the higher trims.

Pure L adds the everyday features many family buyers will notice

Pure L prices range from ₹13.79 lakh for petrol-manual to ₹15.24 lakh for diesel-manual. It adds a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an eight-speaker audio system, rear camera, cruise control, tyre-pressure monitoring, rear wash-wipe and 17-inch alloy wheels. These additions affect daily use more directly than cosmetic changes, especially for buyers upgrading from a basic compact SUV.

Pure L(O) is the first Legend trim with a panoramic sunroof

The Pure L(O) sits above Pure L and costs between ₹14.29 lakh and ₹16.99 lakh, depending on the engine and gearbox. Its principal additions are a panoramic sunroof, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers. Buyers mainly interested in these three features can compare its price with Pure L before moving to Pure+ L, which makes a larger jump in seat comfort and climate-control equipment.

Pure+ L focuses on front-seat comfort and dual-zone climate control

Pure+ L brings ventilated front seats, a six-way powered driver’s seat, extendable thigh support, dual-zone climate control, manual Boss mode and a full leatherette cabin. Its published price table starts at ₹14.99 lakh for the naturally aspirated petrol-manual and reaches ₹17.74 lakh for the diesel automatic, positioning it below the Adventure+ L while retaining several comfort-focused upgrades.

Adventure+ L tops the series at ₹19.49 lakh

Adventure+ L starts at ₹16.99 lakh and tops out at ₹19.49 lakh for the diesel automatic. It adds a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, terrain modes, frequency-dependent dampers, dual 12.3-inch screens, reclining rear seats, ambient lighting, a cooled glovebox and wireless charging. The extensive equipment makes this the technology-heavy Legend trim, but it also places the Sierra near the ₹20-lakh ex-showroom mark.
