Bajaj Auto motorcycle sales dip 7 per cent in January

fell by 8 per cent during January 2014, it said. The company sold
3,18,177 vehicles in the reporting month against 3,47,624 units sold a
year ago.

Pune-based Bajaj Auto has reported a
7 per cent decline in motorcycle sales at 2,81,390 units in January 2014.
The company had sold 3,01,361 bikes in January 2013, it said in a release on Monday.
Bajaj Auto's
overall domestic sales, including commercial vehicles, also fell by 8 per cent during January 2014, it said. The company sold 3,18,177 vehicles in the reporting month against 3,47,624 units sold a year ago.
Exports, however, surged by 7 per cent to 1,37,644 units against 1,28,482 vehicles in the corresponding period of 2013, the company said.
