DJI launches Osmo Mobile for Rs 19,990

After launching DJI OSMO, a gimbal mounted with a camera, DJI is now going mass market with the launch of its OSMO Mobile. Priced at Rs 19,990, the OSMO Mobile is a gimbal minus camera, and a smartphone can be mounted for capturing high quality photo and videos.

The OSMO Mobile has been built on DJI's signature three-axis gimbal stabilisation and SmoothTrack technology. The three-axis stabilisation technology increases precision down to 0.03 degrees of accuracy and the DJI's SmoothTrack technology compensates for shaking and small movements by making it easy to capture a smooth video.

The trigger control on the gimbal can be used for various modes including switching between the phone's front and rear camera. It can work with both Android and iOS devices including iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s Plus, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Huawei Mate 8. It can also hold any Android or iOS device measuring in width between 2.31 and 3.34 inches.

Photos and videos can also be live streamed or shared instantly on social media channels with the DJI GO App. The ActiveTrack function allows users to simply tap the screen to automatically create perfectly framed shots of objects in motion
