Fujitsu's
latest portfolio of Lifebooks, launched on Tuesday, includes notebooks and Ultrabooks that can meet the requirements of a wide range of users.
The new Lifebooks are the N532, LH532, AH532, AH522/SL, UH552, S792, the thin UH572 and the high-end U772 ultrabook.
Featuring the latest
3rd generation Intel Core processors as well as new innovations from Fujitsu like the modular bay functionality, the devices promise usability, flexibility and comprehensive connectivity. Fujitsu now offers a range of options from 12.1-inch to 17.3-inch, catering to almost all usage scenarios.
The 14-inch U772 is being touted as a business class Ultrabook due to its enterprise level features like Intel vPro technology for advanced manageability and security.
Plus, there is a fingerprint sensor and full disk encryption SSD, still rare in Ultrabooks. The U772 is 16mm thin and weighs 1.4 kg with red and silver shell options.
It will also feature Intel's Anti-Theft and Absolute Computrace features that let users trace a lost device and wipe data remotely if needed. The U772 is priced Rs 75,000 onwards.
The UH572 is
slightly cheaper, though heavier , Ultrabook with an optional 3G/UMTS for mobile connectivity. The UH572 is priced Rs 65,000 onwards.
