IFA Berlin: Samsung announces Ativ Tab, Galaxy Camera with Jelly Bean

Just like the Galaxy Note II, even the Galaxy Camera will run on Android Jelly Bean and will have the Touch Wiz Nature UX on the top.

Along with the Galaxy Note II and Ativ S , Samsung had a few more products to show at the IFA Berlin.

There was a strong rumour that Samsung will come up with an Android-powered camera and this turned true with the Galaxy Camera.

The new camera from Samsung will have a 16MP sensor with a f2.8 aperture and 23mm-480mm lens that has 21x optical zoom. Just like the Galaxy Note II, even the Galaxy Camera will run on Android Jelly Bean and will have the Touch Wiz Nature UX on the top.

Other highlights include the 4.8inch LCD display, support for a micro SIM for 3G connectivity (not calls) and 1.4GHz quad-core processor.

The company has announced the ATIV Tab, a 10.1 inch tablet running on Windows RT, an offshoot of Windows 8, tailored to run on ARM based processors. It will be powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, will have 2GB of RAM, 5 MP rear camera and 1.9 inch front facing camera and a 8,200 mAh battery.

The Galaxy Camera will be available in two storage options - 32GB and 64GB. Other features include NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, microSD, u-HDMI, USB 2.0 and will come loaded with a version of Microsoft Office 13 Home and Student version.
