‘The amount I torture myself is next level’: Elon Musk reveals what it’s like being him

Elon Musk believes he inflicts ‘torture’ on himself. At the Business 20 (B20) diaglogue in Bali, Indonesia, he spoke about what it really feels like being Elon Musk. The world’s richest man was expected to join B20 platform in person, but he couldn’t because of an ongoing court case that was scheduled to begin this week. Musk answered questions about all his major companies including the new addition, Twitter.
 
During the interview, Musk was asked what should youngsters do to become the ‘Musk of the East’. His instant reaction was “Be careful what you wish for”. He explained that these youngsters only want to become what they imagine it’s like being me. He went on to say, “The amount I torture myself is next level.” 
 
Going on to answer the question, he claimed that anyone who does something useful can achieve success like he did. He believes that people who can “build products and services that are useful to human beings is doing a good thing.” He then went on to say, “Maximize your usefullness and value to humanity.”

Elon Musk has been famous for his hectic work schedule. Some reports claim that he even works over 100 hours per week. During the interaction, Musk went on to say that he has “too much work on his plate.” 
 
When asked about taking a vacation in Bali, Musk said, “My workload has increased quite a lot. I have too much work on my plate.”

Changes coming to Twitter

Elon Musk also spoke about the latest company under his belt, Twitter. He claimed that Twitter is a medium as opposed to media. Talking about the headlines he has been generating since the takeover, Musk said, “There's no way to make everyone happy that's for sure.”

Talking about his plans for content creators on Twitter. The billionaire re-emphasised on the fact that Twitter needs to work a lot more on the video aspect. He claimed that platform will allow longer videos for content creators who plan to make a living by creating content for Twitter. 
 
Musk has been taking a hard stance on Twitter’s old management. He went on to fire more than half of the company’s workforce, the top executives and most recently over 4,400 contractual employees. Twitter is working on changing the entire verification system on the app, bring more paid features (Twitter Blue) and root out bots and scammers on the platform. So far, they haven’t been able to create a working system for Twitter Blue with the features promised by Elon Musk.
