Anil Bamboli, senior fund manager at HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd, said, "The short term fund has done well as the focus was on higher carry and we managed the duration well. The focus has been on higher carry rather than capital appreciation. We have increased the duration a little bit in expectations of rate cuts."
