After a week of unprecedented disruption, IndiGo has denied allegations of trying to game the new pilot fatigue rules, even as tens of thousands of passengers were left stranded and regulators expressed strong displeasure. The airline cut its Q3 capacity guidance to high single to early double digits and lowered its passenger unit revenue outlook to mid-single digits. IndiGo also warned that a 10% reduction in its winter schedule will weigh on capacity forecasts for Q3, Q4 and FY26. Chairman Vikram Singh Mehta apologised to flyers but firmly rejected claims that the cancellations were engineered, saying the full financial impact is still being assessed.
