EPFO ATM Card And UPI Withdrawal Coming Soon? Big Update For PF Subscribers

A major relief could soon be on the way for millions of EPFO subscribers across India. According to government sources, the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation is in the final stages of launching ATM card and UPI-based withdrawal facilities, allowing members to access their PF savings more quickly and conveniently. The rollout is expected before the end of June after the completion of the EPFO's Server 2.01 upgrade. As reported by Ashutosh Mishra of Business Today TV, the new system will enable subscribers to withdraw eligible PF funds directly through ATMs and UPI-linked accounts, reducing dependence on the traditional claim process that can take several days. Certain withdrawal limits and usage rules are expected to be introduced to ensure smooth operations.
