The gold-to-silver ratio, currently hovering around 88, is drawing close attention from investors. Vandana Bharti, Head of Commodity Research at SMC Global Securities, believes gold may have already delivered its major returns over the past four years, while silver is emerging as the metal to watch. With rising industrial demand and surging ETF interest, the ratio could move towards 80:1 in 2026, and even further to 76:1 over time. While gold may consolidate near 1.20–1.25 lakh, silver could climb towards 1.50–1.65 lakh, setting the stage for silver to outperform gold in the coming years.
