Where is the bulk of monthly SIP money being invested? Shweta Rajani, Mutual Fund Head, Anand Rathi Wealth, explains that around 44% of SIP money is going into large-cap companies, while roughly 28–29% each is flowing into mid- and small-cap stocks. She says mid-cap, small-cap and flexi-cap funds continue to be among the top categories attracting SIP investments. While recent returns have created some recency bias, investors also view SIPs as long-term investments and are comfortable allocating a portion to mid and small caps. Flexi-cap funds offer additional flexibility across sectors and market capitalisations, supporting continued investor interest.
