Sun Pharma Q1 Sales Rise 10%; India Business Grows 16%, Organon Deal On Track

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries reported consolidated revenue growth of 10.1% year-on-year in the first quarter of FY27, driven by strong growth in its India business and innovative medicines portfolio. India formulation sales rose 16%, while global innovative medicines sales increased 12.8%. EBITDA margin stood at 28.9%, while adjusted net profit rose 3.1%.

 

The company also said the proposed Organon acquisition has received shareholder approval and remains on track to close in Q4, FY27. During the quarter, Sun Pharma received approvals for semaglutide in India, Brazil and South Africa.
