Bhagwant Mann’s Paris Return Sparks Row: AAP Alleges Airport Delay, Akali Dal Raises Customs Question

A fresh political row has erupted in poll-bound Punjab over Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s return from Paris. The Aam Aadmi Party claims Mann was stopped at Delhi airport for around three hours on October 19 and fined ₹50,000. AAP also cited repeated denials of political clearance for his foreign trips and alleged that the Consul General in Paris did not meet him. The Shiromani Akali Dal hit back, with leader Bikram Singh Majithia questioning whether items were declared to Customs. As AAP alleges an insult to Punjab, the controversy has triggered a fresh political confrontation.
