Economic Survey 2015: Govt must adhere to 3% medium-term fiscal deficit target

The Economic Survey 2015, which was tabled in the Lok Sabha on Friday, said that the government must adhere to medium-term fiscal deficit target of 3 per cent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP).

The government should ensure expenditure control to reduce fiscal deficit, the report suggests.
