Here's everything that Maruti's new Dzire has to offer

 New platform

The new Dzire is not only a complete redesign on a new platform, but also much roomier on the inside. The 2017 Maruti Dzire has a longer wheelbase (by 20 mm) and is wider too.

New Design

The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire comes with a new hexagonal grille with horizontal chrome lines running across it. The car gets a new headlamp cluster as well as redesigned tail lamps.

New Interior

New dashboard design features a touchscreen infotainment system for the top-end ZDI+. The new steering wheel gets a neat and sporty flat bottom with an interior wood trim.

Engines

Maruti has retained both petrol 1.2 litre and diesel 1.3 litre engines from the previous model. However, the new variant will get SHVS hybrid technology, also found on Ciaz and Ertiga.

Transmission

Maruti has stuck to a 5-speed manual gearbox along and a 4-speed torque convertor unit for the petrol automatic variant in the Dzire.
