Three major car launches are scheduled this week — ranging from one of India's best-selling compact SUVs getting a major update to South Korea's newest EV and a German performance hybrid arriving with a jaw-dropping power figure.

The Brezza facelift launches July 24, bringing a new 1.0L turbo Boosterjet petrol engine producing 108 bhp and 170 Nm paired with a 6-speed automatic. The existing 1.5L naturally aspirated engine with manual and automatic options is retained, with pricing expected between ₹8.99 lakh and ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Kia Syros EV arrives with two battery options — a 42 kWh pack producing 132.76 bhp and a 51.4 kWh pack producing 168.9 bhp, both sending power to a front-axle electric motor with 255 Nm. Pricing is expected between ₹13.99 lakh and ₹17.99 lakh (ex-showroom), to be confirmed on July 24.

The Mercedes-AMG E 53 PHEV 4MATIC+ combines a 3.0-litre turbo inline-six with a 21.2 kWh battery and electric motor for a combined 585 hp and 750 Nm. It offers approximately 100 km of all-electric range and can reach 140 kmph on electric power alone — expected between ₹1 crore and ₹1.5 crore (ex-showroom).
