DTC buses will soon go directly to Noida Airport — here's the route, stops and what's still pending

The Delhi government is planning to introduce direct DTC bus services to the Noida International Airport at Jewar — with a proposal already ready and awaiting the finalisation of a Reciprocal Transport Agreement between Delhi and Uttar Pradesh transport authorities.

Officials have confirmed that the proposed service will operate from two major Delhi bus terminals — Anand Vihar ISBT and Kashmere Gate ISBT — connecting passengers from across Delhi directly to Jewar airport, similar to how private vehicles can currently use the route. (Credit: Wikimedia Commons)

"A proposal is ready. After the two authorities finalise the details of the agreement, the services will start. This initiative is part of the broader effort by the state government to strengthen public transport infrastructure and expand interstate mobility," an official confirmed.

The proposal is part of the Delhi government's wider expansion of its interstate public transport network. Earlier this year, DTC approved 100 electric interstate buses across 17 routes — with electric buses already operating to Baraut in UP and Sonipat, Dharuhera and Panipat in Haryana.

The Noida International Airport at Jewar — inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on March 28 and now nearly a month into passenger flight operations — is expected to improve regional connectivity and boost economic activity across western Uttar Pradesh and the NCR, making reliable public transport access increasingly urgent.
