The return service from Darbhanga to New Delhi will operate as train 04097, beginning one day after the outbound service. The published schedule provides 47 trips in each direction, making this a daily seasonal train rather than a weekly special.

The Delhi-to-Darbhanga journey is scheduled for about 26½ hours

Train 04098 is reported to depart New Delhi at 9:30 am and reach Darbhanga at noon the next day. That produces a scheduled journey of 26 hours and 30 minutes, excluding any delay on the day of travel.

The return departure is 3 pm, but passengers must recheck before booking
