Autocar India’s October 7 report assigned the maximum ₹1.36 lakh package to the Grand Vitara Sigma petrol manual. It was a combination of incentives, rather than an unconditional cash discount across every variant.

The report’s pre-Navratri booking benefit applied from October 1 to 10. That window has passed as of October 21, so the original package cannot simply be repeated as an unchanged current offer.

The original Sigma package listed ₹35,000 in cash discount. This is separate from exchange, loyalty and corporate components; confirm what remains available today before treating any of them as a reduction in the invoice.

Autocar listed ₹30,000 in exchange benefit and an additional ₹25,000 exchange bonus. Its stated conditions covered cars up to ten years old for exchange, and up to six years old for the additional offer.

The same package included ₹20,000 in loyalty benefit and ₹15,000 in corporate benefit. Business Today notes that such incentives depend on eligibility, with offers varying by model, variant and dealership rather than applying identically to every customer.

Get the dealer to itemise every applicable benefit and its current validity. Keep the old car’s valuation separate from any exchange incentive, and compare final on-road amounts rather than subtracting a stale maximum from the advertised vehicle price.
