Lootera picks up at premium multiplexes after a poor start

Lootera, the movie starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha picked up at premium multiplexes in the big cities after a poor start . The movie had witnessed a slow start at the box office on Friday, the day it was released. However, apart from big cities, the movies' collections remained dull elsewhere.

According to Boxofficeindia.com, the film has to show big growth on the weekend to have any chance for reasonable numbers at the box office.

The movie recorded collections of 30-35 per cent at multiplexes in metro cities on the opening day, but lower in other circles across the country.

Lootera is competing with 'Policegiri', the Sanjay Dutt-starrer action movie, which also released on Friday.
