Tata Motors Tiago hatchback launched at Rs 3.2 lakh

Tata Motors on Wednesday launched its Tiago hatchback at base price of Rs 3.20 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi). The car will compete with Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Honda Brio, Chevrolet Beat and Hyundai's Grand i10.

The base price of car's diesel version starts at Rs 3.94 lakh (exshowroom, Delhi). The firm promises 27.28 kmpl for diesel and 23.8 kmpl for the petrol version of the car.

The hatchback is equipped with safety features such as dual air bags, 9th generation ABS, EBD and corner stability control.

The car sports a revotron 1.2 litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 85PS power and 114Nm of torque.

Its diesel version has a revotorq 1.05 litre three-cylinder engine with 70PS power and 140Nm of torque.
