Bose enters sport headphone space with SIE2

The SIE2 and SIE2i will be Bose's first in-ear headphones for the health conscious music lover. Durable and water resistant, these sport headphones will also bring Bose-quality audio to the gym and jogging track. The devices will come with exclusive Reebok fitness armbands to hold the phone or music player.

Both models include Bose StayHear tips that comfortably fit the ear without causing irritation. The SIE2i, meanwhile, features an in-line remote and microphone that lets users take calls from iPhones and some other models. The SIE2 headphones are available for Rs 6,638, while the SIE2i will sell for Rs 8,663.

Bose has also announced the VideoWave II entertainment system in 140cms and 117 cms screen sizes and featuring a 1080p LED backlit display. The design is now more industrial and sturdy while the click pad remote is more intuitive.

The VideoWave system integrates a large screen television with cinema quality sound without the need for separate speakers, bass modules or speaker wires. "A cluster of six high-performance woofers inside the system are carefully matched to a powerful acoustic Bose waveguide to deliver the impact of deep low notes with no audible distortion, even at the highest listening levels. Exclusive Bose PhaseGuide sound radiator technology is combined with a seven-element speaker array and advanced Bose digital signal processing to distribute spacious sound well beyond the screen," said a release.

The VideoWave II system 140 cms model will be available for Rs 4,99,388 and 117 cms model will be available for Rs 4,19,513.
