Chakravyuh collections disappoint at box office

Chakravyuh netted around Rs 10.50 crore over its five-day weekend, according to box office estimates. Chakravyuh was released on Wednesday instead of Friday to cash in on the Dussehra holidays.

Chakravyuh had a good showing in some regions, particularly in UP and Rajasthan, but could not match that performance at the multiplexes .

Directed by Prakash Jha, Chakravyuh had its best box-office showing on Wednesday but the collections failed to keep its pace later.

According to estimates, Chakravyuh collections are likely to fall short of Rs 20 crore mark.

Chakravyuh stars Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol, Manoj Bajpayee, Esha Gupta, Anjali Patil and Om Puri and is the story of two best friends, Kabir and Adil Khan, a highly decorated police officer posted to Nandighat, after a horrifying massacre of 84 policemen.
