MSME ministry to train 6 lakh entrepreneurs
During the current fiscal, the NIESBUD trained 4 lakh people and the
ministry has set a target of training 6 lakh people during the next
fiscal.

The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development or NIESBUD, running under the
MSME Ministry, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Finance Corporation (an arm of the World Bank).
This is a joint initiative for
entrepreneurship development in India. Virbhadra Singh, the MSME minister, said the collaboration will help create a cadre of MSME trainers to impart necessary business skills to entrepreneurs.
