Photo for representation purposes only. (Source: Reuters)The country's trade deficit shrunk to $9.43 billion in December logging a fall of 44 per cent over the previous month, government data showed on Thursday.
Domestic imports in December fell by 4.78 per cent year-on-year to $34.83 billion. Merchandise exports also declined by an annual 3.77 per cent to $25.4 billion, the data showed.
